Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann is set to stand in for Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland in the Americas Minor closed qualifier and StarSeries Season 7 North American qualifier, Spencer "Hiko" Martin has revealed in an interview with Dust2.us.
Rickeh is temporarily ruled out of the team due to returning to Australia in order to sort out a new visa, as he has spent the maximum amount of time in the United States allowed according to the original one.
Rogue had been planning on using TENZKI already in the ESL Pro League Relegation, but their request for an emergency transfer was denied by WESA due to Michael "Uber" Stapells being a part of the organization's Pro League lineup as a substitute, Hiko said.
The North American side managed to retain their spot in the league with the Canadian player, placing second in the Relegation tournament, but they've also got two qualifiers coming up, for StarSeries i-League Season 7 (December 7-8) and the Americas Minor (December 12-14).
There, Rogue will utilize TENZKI, who has already started practicing with the squad in preparation for the two tournaments:
"We brought TENZKI here, he is already in Vegas, we've been practicing for the last week and a half. We do plan to use him for the Minor Closed Qualifier, and the StarLadder qualifier that starts this weekend," Hiko said in the interview with Dust2.us.
Hiko also stressed that Rickeh remains a part of the team and that he should return to the United States "soon". Until then, Rogue will be using the following lineup:
Spencer "Hiko" Martin
Hunter "SicK" Mims
Daniel "vice" Kim
Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen
Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann (stand-in)
