The Swedish team's petition for an emergency transfer for the ESL Pro League relegation matches has been granted by WESA.
The ESL Pro League relegation stage has been delayed to a date later than originally planned and will be held on January 7-8. That delay caused GODSENT to run into an issue with their roster, with some of the player's contracts set to expire by that date. That would leave GODSENT without a full roster in the ESL Pro League relegation stage early next year.
WESA's ruling stated that it was not the team's fault that the league decided to change dates, and that GODSENT followed the WESA transfer regulations regarding player contracts. Due to those reasons, they granted GODSENT an emergency transfer for the relegation matches.
At this point, it is unknown who GODSENT will be adding for the EPL matches, but they did have a good result at the WESG EU & CIS finals playing with Hampus "hampus" Poser and Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi. However, unlike the former, the latter is already a part of their ESL Pro League roster.
After the departure of Dennis "dennis" Edman and Andreas "znajder" Lindberg from the team's active lineup, GODSENT is down to only three full-time players:
Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun
Simon "twist" Eliasson
Fredrik "freddieb" Buö
