TyLoo defeated Renegades in their second re-match in PGL KeSPA Regional Minor Championship Asia grand final after a 2-1 series (Cobblestone 5-16, Mirage 16-5, Cache 16-13).
After Renegades and TYLOO already secured their spot at the ESL One Cologne Main Qualifier, the two then battled it out in the grand final for an extra $15,000 and likely a better seed at the qualifier.
The series started on Renegades' pick, Cobblestone, which they already won once before versus the Chinese giants in the upper bracket final. The Australians managed to put in an even better performance that time around, as they took a lead in the series after 13 rounds on the T side.
TyLoo secure a win at the Asia Minor
TYLOO's Mirage, already played twice before between the two with China's number one taking two 16-11 victories, followed, and history repeated itself as Renegades fell in a convincing fashion on map two.
Cache, which previously went down to the wire between the two, decided the series. After taking 11 rounds as Terrorists, Renegades were looking to close it out, but TYLOO provided an even better offence and ran away with the match at 16-13.
